About Australian Pork

Australian Pork Limited is a progressive, producer-owned industry body, working to represent Aussie pig producers, and promote the pork industry, resources and pork products. The Australian Pork website is primarily an educational tool for, and about, the pork industry. It also provides quality tips and recipes for pork-loving Australians.

Australian Pork maintains its digital presence internally, with an external digital agency providing some support around SEO logistics. While Australian Pork referred to their analytics data from time to time, they were yet to incorporate the data into their marketing strategy.

We use analytics, but I wouldn’t say we use it “actively”. We haven’t had the time to do a deep dive on any of the analytics, or focus on them in our decision making”, Eunbi explains.

The Australian Pork brand strategy department is in a separate division to their digital and social channels departments. It can be challenging to maintain cohesion between the different departments. Managing the big picture strategy and the minor details can be tricky, and the segregation resulted in one of the organisation’s biggest online marketing challenges.
